Name Your Baby!

NEW FOR 2022: I’ve tailored my naming service exclusively to babies and adoptees! In short, my job is to provide parents with ideas, suggestions and guidance in the naming process.

My credentials:

• Over 10 years in the naming business, starting with helping people find names for their farms, homes, ranches, pets and products
• A passion for research and information gathering
• A broad perspective and knowledge base thanks to being a voracious reader since childhood
• A gift for choosing fitting names and thinking outside-the-box; I’ve been consistently told his over the years by clients and friends

So…………if you and your husband are stuck in the naming process and need ideas or just plain direction, I would LOVE to help you out. I love naming things SO much I would do this for free if it weren’t for the bills that come along with running a website!

Two options are available – see below. After paying, your spot is reserved and you can introduce your naming dilemma to me at zephyrhill at protonmail.com. Things to include in your first email:

• Do you have other children, and if so, what are their first and middle names?
• Do you know the sex of this baby?
• Do you have names that you do NOT want to use?
• Are there certain saints you like?
• Are there people (family, friends, famous, etc.) that you wish to honor?
• Are there any books or movies or fictional characters or authors that are very dear to you?
• Are you open to unusual/alternative spellings?
• Ethnicities? (French, Russian, Scandanavian, Spanish, etc)
• Are there any particular saints that you wish to honor?
• Are there any particular devotions or apparitions you are attached to?
• Are you open to double names? (i.e. John Henry, Rose Marie, etc.)
• What is your personal style?
• What are your spouse’s opinions on the matter?

 

Bright Ideas: $100

This package includes a final list of five to seven first name suggestions for either a boy or a girl, with explanations and background on the choices, all based on our private email consultations. The process generally takes about 1-2 weeks from start to finish. If you are expecting or have an adoption date, please order at least 3 weeks prior to arrival of the little one!

Baby Buzz: $50

This package includes advice and/or opinions on a list of names you’ve already created. List must be limited to ten names or less, for one sex. Expect a personal email exchange that is considered completed within 1 week.

The Forum: $20

If you’d like to share your ideas with my readers and get their feedback in the form of comments, I can publish a post highlighting your situation on Zephyr Hill Blog. You can share as little or as much info as you feel comfortable with. I can’t guarantee a certain number of responses, or the quality thereof. It’s a shot in the dark, just for fun, but who knows what unique ideas you might get?

If everything changes and you need to use one of the services above AGAIN, the Replay package delivers this at a 50% discount. It’s a reward for being a repeat customer, and it’s a shorter process since I’ll have your brief already on file!

Gift Certificates are Available

A gift certificate can be purchased in amounts starting at $20 and going up. When purchasing, be mindful of the different packages available above and their respective costs. Certificates are sent by default via email; if you would like a physical copy mailed, there is a $5.00 delivery fee. Please inquire to order and a custom invoice will be created using Paypal.
