A pet is a great holiday gift. My boys got frogs for Christmas and this will be good for selecting names.
Heather says
I love the idea of giving a new pet a holiday name! We got our rescue pup 2 years ago, the day after Christmas. These names would have been perfect for her.
Bryan says
I’m thinking to have a new puppy as part of our family next year, maybe when we move into our new home. I’ll keep this list.
Kathy says
These are all wonderful names. I see a few that I really like. Naming pets isn’t always easy either.
Fatima T. says
I’ve always loved the names Joy and Aspen. I think the next name we’ll use for our pet is Joy because pets bring so much happiness wherever they go.
Anne Marie says
I completely agree, Fatima! ~Anne Marie

It is a cute idea to give pets holiday themed names to remind us of when they cam into our lives!

Some really good pet names! Thanks for the ideas.

I love your list! We bought a new milk cow in 2018 and called it my Christmas present😉. We named her Mistletoe and her first calf born this summer is Holly.
Dandi D says
These are such fun ideas–it makes me want to get some more cats!
