Flip adjustable diaper covers are made by Cotton Babies. They are lightweight and feature soft stretchy wings with double snaps. There are three rise settings to adjust as your baby grows, and a front and back flap that can be used to hold inserts in place. Flips are part of a hybrid or AI2 system that includes organic cotton and stay-dry insert options (plus a disposable insert I haven’t tried yet), but most families use them as diaper covers with prefolds and flats.

I first used Flip covers with baby Samuel (8 years ago), and they’ve stayed in our rotation since then.
The first newborn I cloth diapered was Erik, but at just 7 pounds and change, he was pretty skinny. Out of curiosity, I tried Flips on him but they gaped open at the leg openings, allowing #2 to escape (photo below). This is not uncommon at all with one-size diapers. The rise was also very high, so I set them aside for later.
The plus side to Flip’s generous sizing is that it can easily last until potty training, and gives excellent coverage over even the bulkiest fitteds and prefolds.

In the past, we had some issues with the elastic in our Flip covers loosening after just a few months. Cotton Babies replaced them promptly, thanks to the great bumGenius warranty. Since that time, we haven’t experienced any more problems with elastic. It might have had something to do with the fact that our older covers were made in Egypt, rather than the USA.
As a Cotton Babies product, Flips fall under the same warranty which covers snaps, lining, hook & loop closures, elastic and waterproofing for 1 year from date of purchase. The warranty is for the original buyer and you need a proof of purchase to claim. Leaking, odor and normal wear and tear are not covered.

I haven’t used a flip cover but I want to! We use prefolds including osocozy preemie sizes and covers right now with our 6.5lb 2.5 month old preemie.
I have never used either of them. I would like to because I use just prefolds on my granddaughter. I watch her 3/4 days a week.

Yes, I have 3 flip covers. I am not currently using them due to the fact that they don’t fit my 2.5 year old very well. I am going to try them out on my son who will be born soon when he gets a little older. I love the trim fit flip covers give.
I have 3 Flip covers & 3 daytime cotton inserts that i bought preloved. I really like the stretchy tabs& the bigger fit on the 98% 2 yr. old.

Yes, Flips are our favorite diaper covers! I use the daytime inserts as well. I’ve used our Flips on our last four children and have just started using them on our 3 month old. This will be the first girl that has worn them. I’m curious if I will notice any differences. Thanks for the giveaway!

Yes, I have used Flip diaper covers and also Bumgenius. Both are great, although the Bumgenius tend to hold odors because of the fleece and hard water…

Flips are some of my favorites! I actually really like their inserts as well, moreso than other hybrids because they just fold over to the appropriate size, instead of making you buy multiple sizes (eg Buttons)

I have used bumgenius laundry detergent, original elementals, and a 4.0 pocket. I liked all except for the pocket, as I prefer Applecheeks and Rumparooz. I have not used flips.
I’ve never used Flips, I like how you can customize the amount of absorbsion. The prints are adorable!
