Berenstain Bears Thanksgiving Book Review & Giveaway

November 1, 2018 by Anne Marie 82 Comments

Spread it around!

Why have Berenstain Bears books stood the test of time? I think it’s because they teach timeless lessons and focus on shared values that resonate with families. The stories are engaging and the pictures are colorful and fun; it’s a recipe for success!

Speaking of recipes, today I’m going to give you a quick look at Mike Berestain’s Thanksgiving Blessings book. Join the Bear family on Thanksgiving Day as they reflect on what they appreciate most, while making their way to the feast at Gran and Gramp’s house.

The story begins with a sleigh ride to Gran’s house, and the Bear Family begins dreaming of the tasty things that await them!

Of course, there’s more to Thanksgiving than just the food. With a nod to our history, the Berenstain Bears remind us that as Americans, we are blessed beyond our own homes; there are also the shared gifts of peace, liberty and religious freedom.

Thanksgiving Blessings also includes a full sheet of Thanksgiving-themed stickers:

This book can be read aloud to any age; readers from grades 3 and up should be able to get through it on their own. You can buy Mike Berenstain’s Thanksgiving Blessings right now on Amazon for only $3.83 (regular price is $4.99)! With Prime, you’ll also get free shipping.

You can also enter to win a copy!
