I’m so excited to use newborn diapers this time around! We didn’t start cloth diapering with my 3yr old DD until she was one or so, so this will be an all new experience for me. Baby #2 is due in September and I can’t wait!

I’ve never used cloth diapers with a newborn. I didn’t realize they went up to 18 pounds. I have to have c-sections everytime and it’s usually at least a few weeks until I am up to doing laundry again and husband isn’t a fan of diaper laundry. But 18 pounds would be a long time after I’m back to active!

Started at 6-8 weeks last time (as soon as os fit). Planning on newborn cloth this time using a mixture of homemade fitteds and trying several bought fitteds, pockets, &aio.
We did not use newborn diapers with our first, just started when she was 2-3 weeks old with prefolds. Hope to use them sooner next time around.

I’ve never used newborn diapers before. With my second daughter, we used disposables until she was a couple months old and at that point we bought cloth diapers. We used them until she was potty trained. With baby #3 I’d really love to skip the disposables and just go with cloth from the beginning. He is due in September so I’m working on building my newborn stash now 🙂
I used seventh generation disposables in the early weeks, but this time around with baby 2 I would love to use cloth diapers! 🙂
I used newborn cloth diapers with my last 2 children and we loved them. I always felt like I never had enough though- newborns go through SO many diapers in a day!! 🙂 We hope to have one more little one and I’ll try to have more itty bitty cloth next time around if it’s meant to be!

We used disposables for the first few months, and let me tell you, my husband was glad when we started cloth! Poosplosions all the time! I am just uncertain about the price of short use newborn diapers. We might get a few covers to put over paper to save money.

The closest thing I had to a newborn diaper when my little guy was small was a fuzzibunz xs. Although I also had newborn gmd fitteds they were too big for the first few weeks. Next time I plan to invest in a couple smaller newborn diapers so I can start cloth sooner.

I didn’t use cloth with my first right away. It hadn’t even crossed my mind, but with my son, I started right away after leaving the hospital. I have a pretty decent stash of newborn cloth diapers, and can’t wait to start right away with this baby!

I cloth diapered my 3rd from birth and I used a few grovia newborn dipes, which fit right from birth but had not nearly enough absorbency for my son. The rest of my newborn stash was some thirsties duo covers and some rumparooz newborn covers both with bummies prefolds snappied underneath. These two options worked very good and I plan to use them again with #4 on the way in Jan. I also had a few applecheeks size 1 covers which fit great but I liked the option to wipe out the other covers and use them over again which isn’t always possible with the microfleece inner. This smartbums diaper looks great for an AIO option which I really like for outings during those first few weeks.

This is my first child but I helped with my younger siblings. My mom used a diaper service and so was using prefolds on her babies from day one. I’m still trying to decide what I want to do for the newborn stage, except that it will be cloth! 🙂
my first was so big that he never needed them!!! we did prefolds w snappis and thirsties size 1 covers but my 2nd born in march was 2lbs smaller and we had to crash stash when she was a day old bc she had a blistering rash from the hospital sposies and the cheapest lot we could find that would ship overnight was bluberry simplex nb and we LOVE them!! id love to try these becasue we love their aios!

I used newborn cloth diapers with my second and will most definitely with my third?? I despise disposables and wish that I had gone %100 cloth with my first, I only used cloth at home with him. We now use cloth %100 with my toddler.

I cloth diapered my son after his umbilical stump fell off at around 2 weeks. I might have tried sooner, but we didn’t have diapers that fit well beneath the stump, and I let Dad be in charge of the “output” while I handled the “input.” 🙂

I didn’t use newborn diapers with my first- just prefolds and covers. It was a challenge, however, to keep from covering my newborn’s umbilical cord stump. I would love to try newborn diapers with the next one!
I haven’t decided how exactly I want to diaper my newborn. I might use disposables for a few days but then use a combination of newborn diapers and prefolds.
I have used newborn diapers. I have to say my favorites are a mixture of AIOs and Flats/Covers. The flats covers are nice because you can keep the flats and use until potty training, but they are trim enough to use under newborn covers. The AIOs are perfect for nighttime when you can’t think straight and just need to put a diaper on that baby! 😉

We didn’t start CDing our dd until she was around 9 months but we did get to CD our grandson for a few weeks when he was first born and his mom was staying with us. We are TTC so hopefully we’ll have our own that we can CD from birth with!

I went straight to OS with my first lo, but I also didn’t cloth the first month. I plan on using cloth from the start with this one due at the end of August. I have a couple newborn diapers in my stash and plan on using prefolds.

Yes I used newborn diapers with my baby, he weighed only 6 lb 9 oz so OS diapers wouldn’t fit him. I plan to use newborn diapers for all my future babies as well 🙂
I didn’t start CD until 6 months with Jr. 1.0, so we went directly to 1-size diapers. This will be my first time using newborn cloth; I plan on using a mix of disposables & cloth with Jr. 2.0 (due in September) while we figure out what works best!

I used newborn covers (Bummis) and prefolds on my first. While I love them, I would also love to have something my husband would try so I wasn’t the only one changing diapers for number 2.

No, I’ve never used newborn diapers before. My son was 8 or 9 months old when we started using cloth.
I have used newborn diapers that we borrowed – when our daughter was about 2.5 months old, and used them for a few months since she’s petite. Before that, we had newborn covers and used cotton inserts – it was all that we had available. For baby # 2 coming in January, we’re hoping to get some newborn diapers since we loved the way that they had a snug fit & didn’t leak as much as the covers we had.
Honestly I am a little nervous about cloth diapering with a newborn. I want some newborn diapers in my stash. However, I am realistic knowing that we will substitute organic disposable until a routine is established.

I used 3 things 1 old style grovia nb aio that was the worst. 1 tots bots teeni fit it was ok. Prefolds and flips worked the best.
Were currently in honest company diapers, to try to stay away from unnecessary chemicals. I do not have any cloth diapers yet but would love to make the switch, and this would be a good start.
